If you already hold your Emergency First Aid & CPR-C (EFA & CPR-C), but need to renew it, sign up for an EFA & CPR-C Recertification.
The Lifesaving Society's Emergency First Aid & CPR-C course is recognized as Basic First Aid under Manitoba's Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Standards. Take this course to learn Adult, Child, Infant and Two-Rescuer techniques for CPR, and Obstructed Airways, as well as basic treatment for conditions such as bleeding & wounds, heart attack, burns and spinal injuries. The course also includes use of a Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
All candidates must show proof of holding an Emergency First Aid & CPR-C certification to the instructor at start of the course. Candidates who do not hold an Emergency First Aid & CPR-C (they have never taken the course) must attend the full EFA & CPR-C course.
Course fee includes all required course supplies and candidate take-home manual. Please bring your own note-taking supplies (pen, notebook and/or paper).
All courses take place at Unit 100 - 383 Provencher Boulevard, Winnipeg, MB.
If you have a group of eight (8) individuals or more interested in the training, please contact our Program Coordinator, Kathy Plett, directly at Kathy.Plett@lifesaving.mb.ca for group pricing information.
